About
Church Mission Statement
The First Presbyterian Church of Port Angeles is a community of people of all ages who believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and who seek to follow His teachings. We come together to worship God, to grow in our love and support for each other, and to learn about God’s will for our lives. Guided by the Holy Spirit, we go out to the community and the world to share our faith and to serve others.
Worship
We gather to praise God in new ways.
You can experience worship with us at church or from the comfort of your home. The 8:30 am Sunday service streams live on YouTube channel. It is archived for later viewing as well.
During the hardest months of the pandemic, church members added their pictures to the pews in the places they usually sat to remind the pastor of their smiling faces. Now, actual faces are in the pews. No reservations are needed. Just come on down!
History
The church was founded in 1914. The photo to the right is a view of Front Street in Port Angeles in 1914.
The church moved to its current location in 1957. The building underwent expansion and renovation in the 1990s. Recent improvements have been made to the sound system and video-recording tools in the sanctuary to bring worship to you at home.

The Rev. Dr. Matt Paul is First Presbyterian's current pastor.
